Raritan Valley YMCA

The Raritan Valley YMCA located in East Brunswick provides wellness programs, swim lessons, youth activities, and fitness equipment to individuals of all ages. This location encourages youth development and growth as well as health living among its members. By offering classes and activities, the YMCA promotes leading an active lifestyle. NADI has actively partnered with the Raritan Valley YMCA since 2019 to bring weekly health clinics.

​New Brunswick Community Farmers Market

The New Brunswick Community Farmers Market brings healthy food from local farms to families and households to ensure that all community members have access to healthy food. Since the beginning of our partnership in 2019, NADI has offered free health clinics here every Saturday morning where trained members offer educated advice based on vital sign assessments.

​Minnie B. Veal Community Center

Holding Screenings Since Fall 2019
Screenings held every Saturday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. 1070 Grove Ave, Edison, NJ 08820
Minnie B. Veal Community Center is a family-friendly location that provides activities for individuals of all ages. With a gymnasium, classrooms, and a playground, this location encourages learning and healthy living. The Community Center allows different organizations to hold classes about topics ranging from yoga to art to dance classes. NADI has held weekly clinics every Saturday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at this location since Fall 2019 to provide information and vital sign assessments to the local community.

​Robert Wood Johnson Latino Diabetes Program

The RWJ Latino Diabetes Program held in the RWJ Fitness and Wellness Center at Rutgers University – New Brunswick aims to educate the Latino community regarding symptoms, treatment, and prevention of diabetes. This program aims to support the community in getting full access to healthcare as well as offering resources and information about treatment.

 Sri Guruvaayoorappan Temple

Holding Screenings Since Spring 2017
Screenings held on the last Sunday of the month.

Sri Guruvaayoorappanis a Hindu temple located in Morganville, NJ. This location is a place of worship for many community members and has strong connections with healthcare workers in the area. Additionally, the temple holds festivals, health fairs, and offers delicious food! Since 2017, NADI members have held monthly clinics on the last Sunday of the month at the temple to educate and assess its members in collaboration with temple physicians and volunteers.

Sai Pariwar Temple

Holding Screenings Since 2016
Screenings held every Thursday from 6:30PM-9:30PM.

Sai Pariwar is a Hindu temple located in North Brunswick open to all members of the community. This location holds youth groups and offers food to the community in the evenings. NADI has collaborated with this location since 2018 to bring weekly clinics to temple members. Clinics provide educational information regarding diabetes and hypertension as well as offering free vital sign assessments.

Other locations include Public libraries (East Brunswick Public Library, New Brunswick Public Library, Metuchen Public Library, Piscataway libraries, Edison libraries, Roxbury Library), Elijah's Promise, Religious places of worship (7th day Adventist Church in Edison, Church of Piscataway, Durga Mandir, Balaji Temple, BAPS Swaminarayan Mandirs, Roman Catholic Church of Edison etc.), Festivals, School events, Senior Centers (South Brunswick, East Brunswick, Metuchen), and in collaboration with other health organizations (RWJUH, University Hospital in Newark, Rutgers Global Health Institute, Rutgers Cooperative Extension) .
